COMPLETE COLLISION REPAIR

We have the tools and equipment on site to perform most all repairs on nearly all makes and models in our facility.  Some necessary repairs such as wheel alignment are done through our chosen quality sublet providers and will still be handled 100% by us in working with these vendors.  We have a ChassisLiner frame machine and necessary related equipment to perform all unibody and frame damage repairs.  We have a complete paint mixing system where we mix and color match on site and use ONLY quality R-M Diamont products from cleaners to undercoats, color coats, and the final clearcoat all backed with a guarantee and warranty, as is our workmanship.
We have a good working relationship with all insurance companies and are glad to work directly with your insurance to assist you through the repair process from start to finish.

RESTORATION & RUST REPAIR

While a large majority of our business is devoted to collision repair, we also do rust repair and vehicle restoration if time allows during our slower periods.  If you have a project bring it by and we’ll see what we can do to help you!

Misc. Vehicle Repairs & Parts

All vehicles will eventually have smaller problems due to equipment malfunctions such as power windows, broken door handles, or a burned out light bulb.  This is another service we are happy to provide our customers in order to make us more of a full service facility.  Through our vendor system we are able to access almost any parts needed and are available in either OEM, high quality aftermarket or high quality salvage or reconditioned parts.   We stock a full line of automotive bulbs and can get almost any parts you might need normally in 1-2 business days, and some things within the same day!  Whether its something you need us to fix for you or if you need a part for a do-it-yourself project, give us a call and see what we can do for you.

Glass Repair and Replacement

This is another service we provide to our customers through a highly qualified and approved sublet vendor.  Whether you’ve got a broken or cracked glass or just a simple rock chip in your windshield, give us a call and we will work directly with your insurance to provide you with a hassle free quick repair!

Hail PDR RL1.jpg

Paintless Dent Repair

We don’t do the PDR work ourselves, but I have an excellent sublet vendor which I use in shop to provide this service to our customers as well.  I’ll admit for years I wasn’t a big believer in PDR, mostly because I had seen lots of subpar work, but once I saw the top notch work performed by the veteran guy we’ve used for years, I was convinced quickly!  Whether you might have been through a hail storm or just have a small parking lot ding, give us a call and let us set up an appointment for you.  All PDR work is completed in our shop locally and approved by us before the job is considered complete.

Aluminum Body Repair

As the industry is changing, some automakers are now building vehicles with all aluminum bodies.  Some aluminum panels have been around for several years, but recent changes have brought vehicles built solely with aluminum.  Our facility now also has the ability to service these vehicles as well.  It is a somewhat different technique, but still follows the same auto body principles.

Headlight Restoration

Are the headlights on your vehicle getting dingy and dim, making it harder for you to see the road at night?  The heat from headlight bulbs combined with the sun beating down on these plastic headlights is hard on them and puts a nasty film on them making them hard to shine out properly.  We can microfine sand, buff and polish most headlights back to look new again!  Some lights can get to be too far gone for this to work, but it’s worth a shot before spending good money on a new light.  I tried one car  that I honestly thought was too far gone in order to at least improve them some, but they actually surprised me and came out looking brand new!

About Us

Cotton Body Shop, LLC was started by me, Troy Cotton in 2016.  I am the third generation Cotton to own and operate an auto body repair facility.  My grandfather Russell Cotton started his own business in 1961 after working in the auto body field beginning in 1933 for car dealerships in the area.  He retired from his full time business in the mid 1980’s but continued to operate part time.  My father Larry Cotton began his era in the auto body industry full time beginning in 1989, operating Cotton Body Shop from 1989 until his retirement at the end of 2015.  My father operated his business in my grandfathers shop for nearly 2 years, then built a new shop at our current location, opening in late 1990.  I decided upon my Dads retirement to continue the family business for the third generation, hereby forming Cotton Body Shop, LLC in 2016.  After attending Hillyard Technical Center for two years during high school, I worked part time for my father beginning in early 1990 and then started full time in the industry in November of 1990, where I have been ever since.  This industry and technology has changed greatly since 1961, but I strive to continue to keep up with these changes, combining that with what I learned from my father and grandfather over the years to continue to provide my customers with quality and dependable repairs that they can count on.
